Knife Cutting System No.93! Installed in the UK shoe industry

Last week (11) Cutting Systems installed their 93rd ATOM knife cutting system in the UK.  Cutting shoe components for the specialised orthotics industry the machine works perfectly alongside our software partners ‘Shoemaster’.  With the complete shoe broken down into cut components and sized Shoemaster exports the machine files to the ATOM knife table and the machine knows from this point all entities such as pen lines, punched holes and cut areas all without any further interaction from the operator.  This allows the factory to have a single skilled shoe designer/ CAD draughtsman supplying multiple cutting tables with shoe shapes.
